That Bookstore In Blytheville
Blytheville, Arkansas

A book signing for
ANRI Woodcarvings

On October 17, 2001, Mary Gay Shipley, owner of
nationally renowned, 'That Bookstore In Blytheville,'
hosted a wine reception to introduce ANRI Woodcarvings.

For 'show and tell,' over 100 various ANRI carvings were displayed,
and I shared with our guests, the history of ANRI, my collection, and
ended the program with a question and answer session.  Everyone was
encouraged to come up and 'play' with the stoppers, and get a closer
look at my treasures, and we may have inspired a new collector or two.

We had a great crowd who seemed to enjoy the program, and the wine, cheese
and fruit Mary Gay had provided.  Following the tradition of visiting authors to TBIB,
I was given the honor of 'autographing' one of the wooden folding chairs scattered
around the wood stove in the rear of the store. (I signed my name next to John Grisham's!)

Thank you, Mary Gay, for a very fun evening!!
