ANRI

from the collection of Philly Rains

Wonderful figural nutcrackers. Both men and women nutcrackers were produced with a variety of interesting faces. These are "pliers" types.
Animals were also featured on nutcrackers like this very old Spaniel with the "whale tail" handles, enabling it to stand upright.
Made in the 20's, this Monk is a brush. Brushes are hard to find, and came in a variety of styles.
This perpetual calendar features a happy lady with a big toothy smile. One of my favorites. Others had two or more heads, or even animals.
A desk calendar, thermometer with a tray for a writing
instrument. Each page of the perpetual calendar is
stamped with the 1925 ANRI logo.
Salad forks and spoons with men and womens' heads were made, as well as tiny mustard and salt spoons, bookmarks, letter openers, and paper cutters.
For displaying and holding keys or spoons ANRI made a variety of wall mounted racks, and even towel bars, tie racks and this very unusual box with three compartments.
