That's Not ANRI

Don't let some of the fakes out there fool you.
Even items that aren't 'knock-offs," or fakes, but are nice carvings
from other places may be mistaken for ANRI.
If your collection is ANRI exclusive it pays to learn the differences.

This is a photo of an entire rack of ANRI "knock-offs" that sold on eBay.
Buyer beware.  If you aren't sure, and only want genuine ANRI, you may
email me for verification.  I'm always happy to help.

Wood, but probably of Swiss, or Austrian.                This shiny, plastic stopper was being
sold on Yahoo as 'rare' ANRI.

The man and woman, and the old man stopper are probably Swiss or Canadian carvings.
Many items that are purported to be ANRI are actually Canadian, Swiss or German.
Some were even made in Japan.  It pays to educate yourself to avoid a costly mistake.
